2019 TRA Holiday Party

Summer is ending, the days are getting shorter, and it is already time to make your reservations for the TRA Holiday Party.
This year, our party will be at the elegant and beautifully remodeled Proud Bird. The restaurant has also updated their “Airplane Park,” which features full-scale vintage aircraft models with views of the Los Angeles Airport landing approach. We will be in the Tuskegee Ballroom, which is located right next to the main restaurant entrance. Doors will open at 11:00AM so no need to show up early.
We have planned a sit-down, plated lunch. Your entree choices are: Cedar-Smoked Salmon in a habanero-orange beurre blanc sauce; or Bludso’s Smoked Brisket, with BBQ sauce on the side. Entrees will be served with herb mashed potatoes, local organic seasonal vegetables, and Rockenwagner Bakery rolls and butter. For dessert, we’ll have their most popular sweet – cheesecake with fresh berries.
Iced tea or lemonade is included with the meal. In addition, a no-host bar with beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks will be available. If you have a dietary restriction or would like a vegetarian entree, call us at 310-813-7745, leave a message, and we will make arrangements with the restaurant.
See’s Candy certificates will again be available this year. The discounted price is $17.00 each – a savings off the $21.50 retail price.
The price for the Holiday Party is $46.00 per person, which includes tax and and all service charges. Please invite your friends to join us.
Free parking is available in The Proud Bird parking lot. Overflow pay parking is available in a city lot adjacent to the restaurant.
To reserve your spot, save a stamp by registering on-line below and paying with a credit card through Paypal. Or, you can mail in your reservation with your payment using the form from the Sept/Oct 2019 No Name Gazette (or print one out by clicking here).
When you sign up, indicate your selection for entrée including the number; for example, if both you and your guest desire the Salmon, put a “2” next to the Salmon item on the form.
Please be sure to postmark by November 20th. Reservations are required and we won’t be able to take walk-ins the day of the event. This event is limited to 240 people. We hope to see you there!
