Terry Lunn, former Radiation Test Operations Manager, Harness and Survivability Laboratory, passed away on Dec 16, 2025. Terry was 79 years old. He received his EE degree from the University of Illinois and joined TRW in 1975. He spent most of his 36 years at TRW/NGAS as the Radiation Test Operations Manager overseeing the operations of the Vulcan large x-ray machine, Febetron pulse x-ray machines for parts and small circuit testing, and Cobalt 60 gamma cell machines for total dose effects. These operations were essential to the Milstar, DSP, DSCS, FLTSATCOM, and AEHF programs.
Terry and his test support team of 10 engineers and technicians performed tests for both inhouse, government, and other industry companies.
He retired in 2011 after 36 years with TRW/NGAS. We will miss seeing his yellow Corvette and his stories of sailing to Catalina Island on weekends.
May he rest in peace.
