TRA member Sydelle Rothstein so was tickled that her poem made it into the Mar/Apr 2016 issue of the NNG that she offered up another one, this time about her cat Sweetie Pie:

I named my new cat Sweetie Pie,
She’s not so sweet, I cannot lie,
When she is bad what does she do?
She tries to catch a bird or two!
Cats are hunters, it’s in their genes,
I just wish she’d catch them in her dreams.
