The final Advanced EHF 6 was successfully launched aboard an Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral on Thursday, March 26, 2020. This is the final satellite in the queue, and after the completion of orbit raising and initialization, the satellite will be integrated into the existing network of linked AEHF and Milstar satellites. Northrop Grumman/TRW provided the payloads, which were integrated onto a Lockheed Martin bus and launched on a ULA rocket. The AEHF and Milstar payloads provide highly secure and protected communications to the nation’s most critical communication missions.
