TRA arranged for a Zoom virtual event with Carol Erikson, Vice President of Digital Transformation for Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 9:30 AM. In her role, Carol is responsible for leading Digital Transformation initiatives across the sector that will enable the Space Systems team to leverage transformational capabilities to ensure effective execution across the full program life cycle from concept to sustainment. Carol joined the company in 1987 as a systems engineer.
Carol will discuss how Digital Transformation can move through the design, testing and manufacturing phases quickly and with agility, saving money and significantly reducing development timelines for large systems. Harnessing DT for space is critical as we look towards what it will take to have a thriving future space economy and how industry can keep up with the pace of change in this domain. Carol will also share some highlights from the transformation that is occurring across Northrop Grumman as well as some of the industry challenges.
