It’s time to make your reservations for our annual Spring Fling, which is a great way to reconnect with former co-workers and see what they’ve been up to in retirement! For this year’s Spring Fling event, we will be at a great new venue, which will be at:
Sea Empress Seafood Restaurant
1636 W Redondo Beach Blvd
Gardena, CA 90247
Tuesday, May 13 – 11:15 AM – 2:00 PM
Cost: $25/person (includes tax and tip)
The restaurant is on the south side of W. Redondo Beach Blvd between Western and Normandie in the Pacific Square Shopping Center. There is plenty of free parking available.
Sign-in will start at 11:15AM, so no need to arrive before then. There will be plenty of time to mingle before lunch, which will be served starting at 12:00 noon.
We’re offering something a little different this time with a family- style banquet lunch. This means each table of eight will share their food on a lazy susan and pick and choose what they want from the different offerings. Offerings include vegetable spring rolls, vegetable chow mein, chicken with straw mushrooms, shrimp with snow peas, beef with ginger and green onions, steamed rice, and hot jasmine tea. We’ve tried to include items that all will enjoy. Our events committee found them all to be excellent.
Soft drinks, beer, and wine will be available from a no-host bar. Unfortunately, because of the meal format, we will not be able to accommodate any special dietary restrictions.
The price for the Spring Fling is only $25.00 per person, which includes tax and all service charges. Please invite your friends and co-workers to join us to welcome spring.
IMPORTANT: If you prefer to mail-in your reservation or encounter an issue with registering online (particularly during payment checkout), download the event mail-in form. Note: Mail-in reservations must be postmarked no later that April 21, in order to be accepted.
