In Memoriam: Winnie Pang

Winnie started at TRW/NG in 1989 and spent the better part of her 31 years there supporting National Defense Programs. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, she was heavily involved in the design, analysis, testing, and verification of many complex electrical systems. Recognized by the Company and her peers as a Subject Matter Expert in the Avionics specialty field (yes, it really is rocket science), she contributed to the design of many other systems and provided mentorship to junior engineers throughout her career. She was also a highly respected member of the Launch Systems Integration technical team, responsible for interface management, safety, and mission success. Winnie would always lend a hand to her coworkers to help resolve technical issues, and did it with a smile on her face. She handled challenging engineering issues with the utmost grace and respect for her colleagues and counterparts. Winnie made a lasting impact on all those she worked with and she will be greatly missed by her TRW/NG family.

Winnie also worked in the Electrical Systems Design and Integration (ESDI) department where she worked on EMC and space radiation analysis. The latter is how we met many years ago.

Tom Steelman, 80, February 26, 2020. Tom spent many years in aerospace starting with than North America 18 years, from there went to Northrop and spent 5 years with final 5 years spent at TRWe retiring.
