      I just learned that Irv Rubin passed away last August, 2019, just short of his 87th birthday. He worked in Aerothermodynamics and laser testing/analysis of aerospace structures such as that considered for use on Brilliant Pebbles kill vehicles. He was a member of the Vulnerability and Survivability Lab when Don Jortner headed the lab in the 1970s, before he transferred to S&TG.
