When I retired in 2015 we went on a split medical plan, me on Kaiser medicare with reimbursement from Tower Watson, my wife on an NG sponsored plan through Kaiser, since she is under 65. Initially I paid $38 per month for my wife. For 2017 it was raised to $112, a factor of 3X increase. I called NG benefits and asked why and they just said that they could. For 2018 the payment will be $276 per month. An increase of 7.25X or 725% in just 2 years.

Does anyone else have a similar experience???

It seems that there is no underlying justification for such a massive increase.
